I loved my sessions with Ren and have been so shocked at the difference in my back pain. I have been trying various methods of treatment for my chronic pain and finally feel I have found a solution. I was suffering from migraines and general energy issues and she really brought her skills and knowledge to bear to help me understand what was going on in my body, using acupuncture and massage to balance out my “yangy” tendencies. I tend to use acupuncture as part of my ongoing well-being tool kit. I always come away from Ren's feeling that my body and mind have been given just exactly what they need. She's been a great support over the years and a massive part of my covid recovery more recently. She is genuinely caring and thoughtful. I'd thoroughly recommend her, she totally knows her stuff both in terms of Chinese medicine and general health knowledge and I'm always coming away with new info. She is very gentle with the needles. I've attended acupuncturists in the past that I've spent my time anticipating the next needle but never with Ren, she's so gentle. Ren is an all-around lovely person and I completely trust her and her practice. I had a horrifying experience. I was beginning to put trust in Ren I had a few sessions, I'm recovering from complex trauma (childhood trauma) and chronic fatigue and am struggling with my health, Ren knows this. I was booked in for a massage and acupuncture. She says we ran over so can't do the massage (that also happened the week before). I had mentioned I had a little windfall earlier (I'm a disabled person too). I said I'd really like the massage (which was £25 extra on the day) and can I please still have it another day. She said yes but wanted to charge me £50 (usually £55). I feel it's because I mentioned I had a little money coming. I was in shock when I left. I'm horrified at being treated like this, I feel manipulated and exploited. I don't feel she's someone to be trusted, this is for anyone who's in vulnerable groups, I strongly recommend NOT going to her. I don't feel she treats other clients like this. I'm apaulled. No matter what her skills, this is the most important of all in this work, trust and humanity. I've discovered I want getting that in my treatment.
