Acupuncture treatment involves an insertion of fine needles into ‘Acupoints’ located along the energy channels called meridians.  ‘Acupoints’ can be described as vortexes of energy – they show a difference in electrical potential from other areas of the body – these points can be sensitive to touch and their assessment is useful in my diagnosis. I often examine their sensitivity or tenderness, and any changes in skin colour. Acupuncture is painless, you may be aware of subtle sensations at first like tingling, pulling or ache, but once all needles are inserted these sensations settle and many people experience a feeling of deep relaxation. Acupuncture aims to improve overall health and well-being.

My practise is based on TCM Acupuncture and Meridian Theory-based Acupuncture. I have experience in treating clients for pain relief, gynaecological problems, digestive and respiratory disorders, modern chronic illnesses and autoimmune disorders.
