My name is Rae Sziklai and I believe you deserve to be happy and fulfilled in your life and that you have the ability to make that happen. Life can be challenging and difficult and I am trained to help you through your troubles and to support you to make changes in your life. It would be a privilege to support you in making sense of your world and helping you find your inner resources to enhance your life.
I provide counselling to adult individuals in Manchester, with my office based in Levenshulme, M19.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a graduate from the University of Manchester’s Master of Arts Counselling programme and have been volunteering/working in counselling settings since 2012. I work with a broad range of presenting issues from clients including but not limited to self-esteem/worth, confidence, depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement/loss, trauma, life changes, identity, relationships, separation and divorce.
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
I practice from an integrative model of psychotherapy with a strong relational focus.
As an integrative therapist/counsellor I draw upon various elements of different theoretical orientations I have received training on and adapt to what you and I collaboratively feel would be most helpful for your therapeutic experience.
Feel free to get in contact via telephone or email and from there we can make arrangements for your first session. The initial session is about exploring the issues you’d like to bring to counselling, what you’ll be working toward, and determining if we will be a strong therapeutic match. It is important to feel comfortable when delving into personal aspects of your life. If we’re both happy to continue, at the end of the first session we can look at booking in for future sessions which are typically held on a weekly basis.
Sessional – £40
Sessional reduced rate (limited availability) for students/low income – £25
Each session lasts for 50 minutes, and we can continue working together for as long as feels helpful.
I look forward to hearing from you.
